Minoxidil is a vasodilator medication which increases levels of oxygen, blood and nutrients to the follicle, therefore promoting Hair Growth and specifically the Anagen or ‘Growing Phase.’

Our Minoxidil is available in a 6% or 12.5% strength. It is only available via private prescription, following a thorough medical consultation. Clients will only be offered higher strength Minoxidil if they are deemed medically suitable.

The topical liquid is applied to the scalp daily at home once or twice per day. Clients only need to attend the clinic every 3 months to track progress, have a medical checkup and to make their repeat prescription.

Scalp Micropigmentation is a semi-permanent tattooing technique that uses specialised needles to strategically place coloured pigments in to the scalp to replicate a hair follicle or hair strokes. The finished result can almost ‘fill in’ a Thinning or Balding area on a shaved head to give the illusion of stubble, or this technique can be used to create density to camouflage thinning hair for both Men and Women. In most cases 2 treatments are needed, 4 weeks apart, and each will take approximately 2-5 hours depending on the level of Hair Loss. The second treatment is known as a top up to create further density. Treatment prices start from £500. A Hair Transplant is a surgical procedure carried out under local anesthetic. Donor hairs are extracted from an area that is not sensitive to the DHT hormone, and therefore does not thin in the same way. The donor hairs are then relocated to build density in an area that has become inactive or bald.

There are 2 techniques known as FUE and FUT.

Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) involves extracting the hair follicles using a specialised cutting instrument to cut around the individual follicles so they can be removed from the scalp and relocated.

Follicular Unit Transplant (FUT) is a traditional transplant method that involves extracting a strip of the scalp from the back and sides of the head. The strip is then dissected in to separate individual grafts by technicians so the surgeon can relocate the grafts in to the Thinning or Balding area.
